1989 - 2006
Close Construction, Inc. was founded in
1989 by its owner and president, Chris Close. Since its inception, Close
Construction has established a sterling reputation for quality workmanship,
safety, timely completion and cost control. Many of our projects have been
developed from conceptual design through occupancy, which included the
procurement of land, design, site work and building construction.
Close Construction is currently
comprised of approximately 65 full-time employees. Along with the
administrative and office staff, the company employs its own carpentry and
finish crews. This assures our clients superior workmanship and daily
project control.
We are conveniently located in South
Florida with offices in Okeechobee and Hobe Sound. We have excellent bonding
capability through a solid relationship with
Florida Surety Bonds (agent) and North American Specialty Insurance Company (A++
rated). We carry General Liability Insurance and Worker's
Compensation along with an Umbrella Policy, totaling $5,000,000. We
strictly adhere to all State and Federal labor regulations and maintain a
comprehensive Safety Program.
Our Residential Division is enhanced by
extensive experience in building and renovating custom homes and Jupiter Island. Close Construction's project management and residential
building experience create a unique and highly professional construction
organization committed to achieving complete owner satisfaction.
Our Senior Project Staff working under
the direction of Chris Close are dedicated to construction excellence on all of
our projects. Together, we possess over 200 years of experience,
knowledge, and professionalism which enables us to cost effectively deliver the
highest value for our clients.
